Seasons with the Soviets 1963-65

Charles Swithinbank has worked in Antarctica during seven different decades, beginning with the Norwegian-British-Swedish expedition of 1949-52 (see his narrated film on this expedition in the Video section). This film includes narrated photography shot by Dr. Swithinbank as an exchange scientist with the Soviets during 1963-65. He wintered at Novolazerevskaya Station and also visited Vostok, Mirny and Molodyozhnaya Stations. Copyright 2014 Charles Swithinbank.
