Interview with Dr. John Dearborn

Charles Lagerbom sat down for an interview with Dr. John Dearborn on February 17, 2009 at his home in Orono, Maine. An old Antarctican, he was a Marine Biologist who first went down to The Ice in 1959 and taught for years at the University of Maine at Orono. He passed away November 2010. He spoke of his time with the HERO research ship, the early days of U.S. marine biology in Antarctica, the University of Maine and many other things.
